Maintaining Relationships

Romantic, Platonic and Professional

The ability to form a reciprocal anchored relationship starts in a person’s earliest experiences with their caregiver. Friendships, marriages, partnerships, co-working relationships and familial bonds - succeed or fail for many reasons beyond the our childhoods - they are a microcosm of everything we’ve experienced and what we need to make sense of. Most people have to work to master the skills necessary to make relationships endure and flourish, and minimize threats to their connection.

In therapy, we can work on the following:

  • Pre-martial and post-marital counseling

  • Communication tools

  • Conflict- Resolution strategies

  • Uncovering relationship strengths

  • Discovering why you may be repeating the same cycle
